چکیده

Abstract Real-Time Kinematic Precise Point Positioning (PPP–RTK) is inextricably linked to external ionospheric information. The PPP–RTK performances vary much with the accuracy of information, which derived from different network scales, given prior variances, and obtained under disturbed conditions. This study investigates relationships between performances, in terms precision convergence time, statistical results show that Time First Fix (TTFF) for constrained by Global Ionosphere Map (PPP–RTK-GIM) about 8–10 min, improved 20%–50% as compared PPP Ambiguity Resolution (PPP-AR) whose TTFF 13–16 min. Additionally, 4.4 5.2 6.8 respectively, when information e.g. small-, medium-, large-scale networks, respectively. To analyze influences optimal variances delay on results, errors 0.5 Total Electron Content Unit (TECU), 1 TECU, 3 5 TECU are added initial delays, corresponding time less than 3, 5, 6 After adding errors, a small variance leads long larger same PPP-AR. Only an determined model, can be shorten greatly. impact Travelling Ionospheric Disturbance (TID) further studied simulation. It found TIDs increase corrections, thus affecting positioning accuracy, reliability PPP–RTK.

Ionospheric Sounding and Tomography by GNSS

Studies of the ionosphere and the physics of the ionospheric processes rely on the knowledge of spatial distribution of the ionospheric plasma. Being the propagation medium for radio waves, the ionosphere significantly affects the performance of various navigation, location, and communication systems. Therefore, investigation into the structure of the ionosphere is of interest for many practica...

Accurate reference ionospheric model for testing GNSS ionospheric correction in EGNOS and Galileo

This work presents a procedure to assess ionospheric models tailored for Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) applications. The test is based on actual carrier-phase measurements. Using this strategy, the accuracy of the ionospheric broadcast models for Global Positioning System (GPS), Galileo and the European Geostationary Navigation Overlay System (EGNOS) is assessed. These models are co...

AATR an ionospheric activity indicator specifically based on GNSS measurements

This is anOp Abstract – This work reviews an ionospheric activity indicator useful for identifying disturbed periods affecting the performance ofGlobal Navigation Satellite System (GNSS). This index is based in the AlongArc TEC Rate (AATR) and can be easily computed from dual-frequency GNSS measurements. The AATR indicator has been assessed over more than one Solar Cycle (2002–2017) involving a...
